Performance at VA Gallery 9th Mar
Noriko

Two mime-dance pieces by Noriko Yamamoto !!!!!!!!!!!!!
1. Tea Ceremony 2. Lotus
On March 9th, artist Yam Lau’s White Pavilions installed at the Varley Art Gallery of Markham will serve as intimate stages for the Japanese-Canadian performance artist Noriko Yamamoto. Noriko will perform two solo short mime-dance pieces, entitled Tea Ceremony and Lotus. Using only gestures and facial expressions, Noriko invokes a journey into a world where perpetual transformations take place in multiple dimensions.
The audience will share the journey up-close with Noriko as seen through the mysterious veils of Yam Lau’s stage. This is an event that will delight audiences of all ages and cultural backgrounds. Please come join us!!!
Noriko and Yam will be available for a casual discussion of their work after the performance.
